Christopher Miller (born 1985), better known by his stage name Yung Chris (or simply YC to avoid confusion with rapper Young Chris), is an American rapper from Decatur, Georgia.[1] He is currently signed to the record label Universal Republic.

Music career

He is best known for his hit single "Racks", which was released on April 5, 2011. The song peaked at #6 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles chart. He performed the single at the BET Awards of 2011.[2]

YC's first album Bands, which was released on May 31, 2010, and was largely unsuccessful, but had a popular song that went unreleased entitled, "Dem Girls", which features singer Yaboythetruth. After releasing the song, he recorded "Racks", for his first mixtape Got Racks, which was released in April 2011 and received over 24 million downloads via the web. He is currently touring promoting his album.

YC is associated with Gucci Mane appearing on several mixtape songs and videos. He appeared on the video "This is What I Do" with Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka Flame, and OJ da Juiceman. Gucci Mane also appeared in the music video for "Racks". YC appeared in Waka Flocka video for "Grove St. Party", featuring rapper Kebo Gotti.

On October 4, 2011, YC released his second single "I Know" and it features Ace Hood. This is the second time YC and Ace Hood work together since the "Racks" Remix.
